Caitlin MacDonell , Lawyer
Caitlin MacDonell was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2017, after articling at a large regional law firm.  She has practiced in the areas of family law, estate and trust litigation, and insurance litigation.  Caitlin’s focus is on family law, including asset and property division, support issues, parenting issues, and child protection matters.

Caitlin has appeared at both the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia on a number of family issues, ranging from financial disclosure to divorce and separation matters including corporation and trust division.   


Caitlin obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia in 2011.  She went on to complete her Juris Doctor at Dalhousie University, which included a year as a visiting student at the University of British Columbia law school to learn provincial legislation.


Caitlin sits on the Board of the Squamish Access Society, and has held the role of Secretary for the past year.  She intends to continue on with the Board, with her efforts focused on relationship-building with the various land management stakeholders in the Squamish area.
